We are independent hardware vendor for one leading MNC and our team works with the customer to bring out products suitable for the Indian market. Similarly we work with overseas Design companies in the Defence & Aerospace domain to bring our products for the Indian Offset market.
Supply chain constraints in India is a major challenge for the Indian EMS companies. Kaynes has supply chain partners in North America and Singapore who are able to source Military Grade and hard to locate components, consolidate, kit and ship them JIT (Just In Time), thereby reducing inventory.
Kaynes also works closely with Distributors like Avnet, Arrow, Future and others on a three monthly rolling forecast. The system of Bonded Inventory (BIM) Model is agreed with these distributers on an annual basis resulting in win-win situation for all of the stake holders.
Kaynes for its overseas customer follows a Vendor Managed Inventory programme, where the customer based on criticality of PCBAs or Products gives a Minimum order quantity to be placed at either his place or at warehouse selected by Kaynes. This order is an open one and as and when customer pulls the material, Kaynes gets paid. This benefits the customer immensely as it allows safety net and ensures customers line will not stop.
Kaynes also ships stock monthly to the warehouses and from there the exact quantity required by the customer is shipped based on his requirement.
